The forum was presided over by H.E. The event brought together Cambodian officials, private sector representatives, and around 80 leading Japanese companies and enterprises, reflecting growing interest in Cambodia’s business environment and investment opportunities.
Accompanying H.E. Sun Chanthol were H.E. Chum Sounry, Cambodian Ambassador to Japan; H.E. Dr. Mei Kalyan, Advisor to the Royal Government; H.E. The forum also featured two thematic panel discussions focused on sectors with strong investment potential. The second session focused on the development of special economic zones in Kampong Thom province, highlighting strategic opportunities for infrastructure and industrial investment in Cambodia’s central region.
According to organisers, the forum demonstrated growing confidence among Japanese investors in Cambodia’s economic outlook and marked another step toward strengthening Cambodia-Japan economic and trade cooperation in a sustainable and long-term manner.
